KAJYN Licensing Information

The following license terms are provided for informational purposes only and are intended to help customers understand the licensing options available before purchasing a beat from the KAJYN store.

This page is a general licensing reference only and does not constitute the final personalized license agreement. After purchase, the buyer will receive the definitive license document containing the relevant transaction details, purchaser information, selected license, and licensed beat title.

By purchasing, downloading, or using any beat from this store, the buyer agrees to comply with the permissions, limitations, and restrictions associated with the selected license.

1. General Licensing Principles

Unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement, all beats remain the intellectual property of KAJYN. Purchasing a license grants the buyer a limited, non-transferable right to use the beat in accordance with the terms of the selected license.

Unless an Exclusive License has been purchased, all licenses offered on this store are non-exclusive. KAJYN retains full ownership of the beat and reserves the right to continue selling, licensing, or distributing the same beat to other customers.

Each non-exclusive license allows the buyer to record vocals over the beat and create one (1) new musical composition for one commercial release, unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement.

If the usage limits attached to the purchased license are reached or exceeded, the buyer must obtain an upgraded license or written authorization before continuing commercial exploitation.

3. Rights Granted

Subject to the selected license, the buyer may record vocals over the beat, create one new song using the beat, distribute that song on digital platforms, perform it live, and commercially exploit it within the limits of the purchased license.

Permitted platforms may include, where applicable, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, and similar distribution or social media platforms.

The licensed song may also be included in albums, EPs, or mixtapes, provided that such use remains within the scope and limits of the purchased license.

4. Restrictions

The buyer may not, unless expressly authorized in writing by KAJYN:

• Resell the beat
• Redistribute the beat
• Lease, sublicense, or transfer the beat to any third party
• Upload or distribute the beat alone without vocals or additional original musical contribution
• Use the beat in sample packs, beat packs, loop packs, or similar products
• Claim ownership of the instrumental composition or instrumental master
• Exploit the beat beyond the limits of the purchased license without an upgrade or additional written authorization

The beat may only be used as part of a completed musical composition created by the buyer in accordance with the purchased license.

5. Content ID and Audio Fingerprinting

Non-exclusive license holders may not register the beat or any song containing the beat in YouTube Content ID or similar audio fingerprinting, content recognition, or automated copyright management systems.

This restriction exists to prevent copyright conflicts between multiple lawful users of the same non-exclusive beat.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, registration in YouTube Content ID or similar systems is only permitted under an Exclusive License.

6. YouTube Copyright and Content ID Policy

KAJYN may register the instrumental composition in audio fingerprinting or copyright protection systems in order to protect the original work.

Non-exclusive license holders may upload and monetize their videos normally through their own YouTube channels, provided that they do not register the beat or their song in YouTube Content ID or similar systems.

Non-exclusive license holders may not file copyright claims against other lawful users of the same beat.

If a copyright conflict occurs between multiple license holders, KAJYN reserves the right to investigate the matter, resolve the dispute, and request removal of any incorrect or unauthorized claim.

7. Synchronization Use

Use of the beat or the resulting song in films, television, advertising, video games, trailers, branded content, or other synchronization-based media may require additional licensing approval from KAJYN unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Intellectual Property

KAJYN retains full ownership of the instrumental composition and the instrumental master recording.

The buyer retains ownership only of their original lyrics and vocal recording embodied in the final song. The resulting song is considered a derivative work based on the licensed beat.

9. Publishing Split

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, publishing rights in the resulting song are split as follows:

• Producer: 50%
• Artist: 50%

When registering the song with a Performing Rights Organization (PRO) such as ASCAP, BMI, PRS, or SACEM, KAJYN must be credited as co-writer where applicable.

11. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

The beat, and any musical composition derived from it, may not be used for the training, development, testing, or improvement of artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, generative audio tools, or similar technologies without prior written consent from KAJYN.

This includes, without limitation, the use of the beat or resulting song in datasets intended to train music generation systems, audio synthesis systems, or artificial intelligence software.

The buyer may not upload, distribute, or otherwise make the beat available to any platform whose purpose is the training or improvement of artificial intelligence models.

Any such use requires a separate written agreement.

12. Final Personalized License Agreement

This page is a general informational summary of the licensing structure used on the KAJYN store. The final binding document is the personalized license agreement delivered after purchase.

That final document may include the buyer name, buyer email, beat title, selected license, effective date, order details, and any additional transaction-specific terms.

In the event of any discrepancy between this informational page and the final personalized license delivered after purchase, the final personalized agreement shall govern.

13. Exclusive Licenses

Exclusive licenses are negotiated separately and require direct contact with KAJYN. Availability, price, scope of rights, and custom terms are determined on a case-by-case basis.

No exclusive rights are granted unless and until a separate written agreement has been executed and confirmed by KAJYN.
